About Me
I am a Calgary-based visual artist working with mixed media, primarily drawing and painting. My practice has developed through self-directed exploration and hobby classes at the University of the Arts, using art as a form of therapy and daily grounding. With a background in fashion design, I bring a strong visual sensitivity to form, texture, color, and composition.
Rooted in figurative expressionism, my work captures the energy and fleeting rhythms of everyday life, exploring subjects that range from portraits and animals to objects of desire. Guided by process, observation, and curiosity, my practice moves between structure and experimentation, allowing images to develop through attention, repetition, and material exploration.
